With further reference to your letter No.1 in 750/ 1917 of 1st instant, I have the honour to inform you that, after consulting my co-Trustee, it was unanimously decided to accept the Government's offer as outlined in the above mentioned communication, subject to the consent of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, and to convey to you their best thanks for the interest and trouble which the Government have taken in coming to satisfactory settlement in this matter.
